Finally BBC iplayer will be available for BS850, BS750, XS350 from tomorrow

With the BBC announcing this week that they are going to be promoting all UK catch up TV programs on their BBC iPlayer its nice to hear that owners of older Panasonic Freesat recorders DMRBS850, DMRBS750, DMRXS350 can now benefit from this feature too!
Panasonic have announced a firmware update, available from tomorrow Thursday 24th February 2011, which will then let early adopters to install BBC iPlayer. BBC iplayer is already available for the current 2010/2011 range of HD recorders from Panasonic DMRBS880, DMRBS780, DMRXS380.
Users for the older Freesat HD recorders will be able to automatically download the new firmware using the update feature on their machines. Once upgraded to the BBC iPlayer service, will be activated through the red button.
